Waiting on God? Here’s What to Do

Alright, be honest—have you ever felt like God wasn’t listening? Like you keep praying, keep asking, but all you get is silence?

Maybe you’re waiting for direction, healing, a breakthrough—something that would change everything. But instead? Nothing.

I feel you. And I need you to hear me on this—God’s silence doesn’t mean He’s absent.

1. Is God Ignoring You? Nope, Not A Chance.

Let’s clear this up: God isn’t ignoring you. He hasn’t walked away.

Think about Jesus on the cross. He cried out, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" (Matthew 27:46). If even Jesus felt moments of silence, then yeah—it’s something we all go through.

But was God really gone? No way. God was working through that silence, setting up the greatest victory the world has ever seen.

💬 Have you ever felt like God was silent, only to later realize He was working all along? Drop your testimony—I want to hear your story!

2. Feelings vs. Truth—Which One Wins?

Let’s be real—when God seems quiet, our feelings take over.

It’s easy to think:
"God doesn’t care."
"I must be doing something wrong."
"Maybe He’s just forgotten about me."

But feelings lie. You have to trust what you know to be true:
God loves you.
He has a plan for you.
He will never leave you, no matter what.

📖 Psalm 46:10 says:
"Be still, and know that I am God."

🚀 Quick challenge: What’s ONE promise from God that gives you strength during hard times? Drop it below—let’s encourage each other! 💬

3. God’s Timing ≠ Your Timing (And That’s a Good Thing)

Be honest—waiting is hard.

We want answers now, right? But God sees what we don’t.

Look at Joseph—the dreamer. He had huge promises over his life, but before he could reach them, he got betrayed, thrown into a pit, falsely accused, and locked up.

Did that feel fair? Nope. But God was setting things up the entire time.

What if your current struggle isn’t the end, but a setup for something way bigger?

💭 Tell me—what’s one thing you’re trusting God for right now? Drop it below so we can pray together. 🙏

4. What to Do When God Seems Silent

So, how do you handle the silence? Do you give up? Pull away? Nope—you press in.

Here’s what I want you to do:
Say this out loud: “God sees me, and He is working in my life.” 🔥
Start a ‘God Moments’ journal—write down the small ways He’s showing up. 📖
Plug into a faith-filled community—don’t do life alone. 🤝
STOP believing the lie that you are forgotten—because you’re not.

🚨 Your turn: Tell me—what’s one way God has shown you He’s watching over you? Big or small, share it below! Let’s lift each other up. 💬

Silence doesn’t mean God is ignoring you—it means He’s preparing you. Trust Him, even in the quiet. He’s working right now.
