You don't have to feel fearless to move forward. You need to know who is with you.
There are moments in life when you know you need to move forward—but something inside you says, "What if I fail?"
What if I make the wrong decision?
What if I don't succeed?
What if I'm not good enough?
What if things don't work out?
What if I step out and discover that I wasn't ready?
Fear has a way of asking questions that can make the future look much bigger and more frightening than it really is.
And sometimes, fear doesn't tell you to stop completely.
It simply tells you to wait.
Wait until you're more confident.
Wait until you have more money.
Wait until you know exactly what you're doing.
Wait until you're certain.
Wait until you're no longer afraid.
But here's the problem:
You can spend your entire life waiting for a moment when you feel completely ready.
That moment may never come.
Sometimes, courage means moving forward while your heart is still beating fast.
Sometimes, strength means taking the next step even when you don't know exactly what the next ten steps will look like.
And sometimes, faith means trusting God enough to move when fear tells you to stay where you are.
Next week, we will discuss 'what it really means to be strong and courageous'. Don't forget that in Christ you prevail. See you.
